Cash for Kids

Northsound Cash for Kids

Northsound Cash for Kids

Northsound Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by illness, poverty, neglect or have additional support needs. We believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full. We work with local grassroots organisations across the region that aim to make a difference to young lives and directly support families who often have nowhere else to go through our regular grant rounds.

Paws on Plastic

Paws on Plastic

Paws on Plastic is a registered Scottish charity based in NE Scotland. We encourage dog owners to pick up a few pieces of litter on walks to protect animals, communities & our beautiful environment. We also educate on the consequences of littering. It’s a simple concept but one that only takes a minute when we’re out walking our dogs anyway but with over 22,000 of us collectively we remove over 30 million pieces of litter every year. There are huge mental health benefits of taking a simple, positive action that is open to all as it really does feel great to make a difference that makes an immediate visible difference that protects animals from harm.
