Outstanding examples of third sector organisations, their staff, volunteers and supporters had their achievements recognised at the sixth annual Celebrate Aberdeen Awards at the weekend.
2025 Celebrate Aberdeen Winners
The 2025 winners are:
- Young Supporter of the Year – Ailie MacIntosh, Charlie House
- Fundraiser or Volunteer of the Year – John MacMillan, Somebody Cares
- Event or Campaign of the Year – Peter Pan: Adventure in Neverland, Community Integrated Care
- Small Organisation of the Year – Home-Start Aberdeen
- Large Organisation of the Year – Somebody Cares
- Team of the Year – Aberdeen Youth Movement
- Community Impact – Northfield Community Centre
- Heart of the Community – Charlene Kilpatrick
The Celebrate Aberdeen volunteers also presented founder Morven MacKenzie with a lifetime achievement award. Since establishing Celebrate Aberdeen in 2011, Morven has seen it grow from the first parade into a movement that now includes the awards evening.
