Aberdeen in Recovery
Aberdeen in Recovery (AiR) is a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation who celebrates recovery in all its forms. We aim to be a bridge from dependence to independence for all individuals seeking to recover from addiction and mental ill health.
We support those who wish to initiate change, including their family and friends, by providing opportunities of all kinds.
AiR have a varied programme of peer support, family support, training and education opportunities and events.
We also run a varied program of events, groups and meetings online, so individuals don’t need to be in Aberdeen to receive support.
We are a charity which is open to anyone who has actual lived experience of addiction and anyone who has been affected by a loved one’s addiction.
We are a thriving Recovery Community of activists willing to share our own recovery experiences offering a peer example to those looking to embark on a Journey of Change
